Coachtopia °22023 commercial work for Coachtopia by Coach
directed by me
produced by Adeus

"Tutorial" is a surrealist presentation of the real life upcycling process present in the creation of a patented leather by Coachtopia. It is composed of 4 different steps : sourcing leftovers leather from factories, cutting small leather strap from the discarded material, mixing them to obtain a precise colory, and then crushing it to obtain a new material.
The whole video is set in the utopian and young universe of the brand.

A Foil’s Theatre2024 personnal work
title design by  Liana Korios

A Foil’s Theatre is a personal research project aimed at transforming real-life filmed footage into a fully-fledged 3D video. The software initially used for this is called Marigold, which performs depth analysis. By transforming each independent frame into an approximation of the real scene in volume, it allows for the recreation of a 3D animation of the moment. The second phase of the research, more aesthetic in nature, focused on refining the traditional stop-motion feel, created by the slight inconsistencies of the technology, and on introducing a gradual rhythm in the movements.

Fresco2024 personnal project
original photographies from Samuel Fabia

Fresco is an ongoing research project focused on the transformation process from 2D real-world photographs into 3D scenes. Utilizing a documentary approach, the photographs are taken without specific instructions, capturing everyday moments and environments organically. This project examines the methodology behind converting these images into artistic representations, highlighting the steps involved in reinterpreting flat visuals into dimensional forms. The emphasis is on the techniques used in this transformation, providing insight into the relationship between the original photograph and its 3D counterpart.

Icarus & Daedalus2021 master thesis
music by Steven Whiteley

"Icarus and Daedalus" is a contemporary opera based on the famous Greek myth of the same name. This sung narrative, following the classical structure of opera, interprets the story as an allegory of the generational tensions present in our time. A technophile father, convinced that every problem has an engineering solution, fails to realize that with each revolution of this mindset, the stakes escalate. His son Icarus, in love with nature and freedom, ultimately pays the ultimate price. The story lends itself admirably to opera's historical themes, such as the search for the divine in humanity, as well as the Deus ex machina.
The exercise of exploring a possible future of opera led me to conceive it in Virtual Reality (VR). The spectator, seated in their chair, is fully immersed in the scenography, echoing the grandiose codes of major city operas. The three acts each reflect a different perspective: imprisonment in the first act, elevation in the second, and downfall in the last.
The music was composed by Steven Whiteley, a composer of experimental ambient music. The text was sung by Artificial Intelligence and harmonized as a whole.
The figurative aesthetic is heavily inspired by surrealism, with a desire to confront the spectator with a fantastic but human-scale living arts scene. The film is entirely created in 3D, using a combination of numerous tools, such as virtual reality sculpture, video game animations, and bird flock simulations.

Cactus Toys2021 editorial for Cactus Magazine
photography by Ilya Chemetoff
AD&3D&graphism with Evan Rochette

This editorial imagined by Ilya Chemetoff is a dystopian science fiction fable. The characters are trapped in a toy factory, digitized, and then transformed into colorful pop statues. The transformation process is depicted by a mix of scanning, projecting 2D images in volume, and more organic processes like the egg.
